 WTF-Bill Walton Puts Down Shaquille O'Neal !!! Links0

Luke Walton's daddy Bill had the nerve to come out his face and dissed Shauille O'Neal. Walton in so many words is saying that if you're a thinking person you can't believe O'Neal can be a factor in the Western Conference. Now it so funny Luke Walton daddy who son plays for the L.A. Lakers and for some strange reason hasn't bought the same kind of sucess that O'Neal has bought to the Lakers when he was there has the nerve to question the three time champion heart?? Oh excuse me four time champion O'Neal did win a championship without the Lakers. It's so funny to me how people forget espcially LAKER FANS on what this guy has done for you. O'Neal took you guys out of the dark ages when you had Elden Campbell. Bill Walton teach your son to at least become a producer on the court first before you judge Shaquille O'Neal. I mean is it me or what big time run have the Lakers had since Shaq was gone?? They have been first round outs and yes you have Pau GaSol but relax go to the playoffs and beat a Phoenix,San Antonio. Laker land pipe down get out of the first round playoffs and do something O'Neal was able to do without you guys and that was to become a winner without you.

Wow... you feel pretty strongly about this.

At any rate, I think that Walton's comment about "thinkers" was directed more towards the sudden transformation from "aging, foul-prone, injury-prone, unproductive, and unmotivated O'Neal" to "driven, healthy, I-can-still-run, championship-winning" O'Neal. Indeed, it's a bit mystifying that he hasn't caught more flack for what appears to be dogging it this season in Miami.

Bill Walton, Shaq Exchange Slaps

I believe this qualifies as our second manufactured, somewhat embarrassing media-vs-player fight in recent times, following the Terrell Owens-Keyshawn Johnson spat. (Funny, same network involved. Hmmmm...) Luckily, Shaquille O'Neal rescues this tete a tete with ESPN commentator Bill Walton by quoting a little-known regulation from the Big Man Code.
