We understand that the Yankees should do what they can to prevent the Sox from landing Santana, but the Yanks can't "force" or "let" the Sox do anything. If Boston is willing to part with Ellsbury and Clay Buchholz -- that's fine by us. Seriously. That'd be a nice chunk of future they'd be mortgaging.
