Starting for the RiverDogs was Zachary McAllister and he pitched his worst game of the year giving up 9 runs on 11 hits in 3 innings of work for the loss. One run was unearned because of a fielding error by second baseman Justin Snyder. To show you how well McAllister has been pitching this year, his era is still a low, 2.57 after this game. Replacing McAllister to start the 4rth inning was Jesse Hoover and he pitched 3 scoreless innings on 2 hits along with 5 strikeouts. Following Hoover was Gabe Medina and he pitched 2 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits. The hitting stars of the game worth mentioning for the RiverDogs were Justin Snyder and Taylor Holiday.
