Several of the commenters brought up his name in the season previews, but we'll fully admit we overlooked him: Bobby Abreu' s clinching single stole part of the spotlight tonight, but not entirely away from the solid bullpen performance in a 3-2 Yankee victory . Great stuff tonight, as the 'pen produced three scoreless innings, and Phil Hughes looked excellent over six innings, allowing just four hits and two runs to go with four strikeouts and just one walk. Not that this comes as a surprise to anyone who forecasted this team, but boy, a good 'pen really makes a difference, ...
