Mariano Rivera made things interesting in the top of the 9th inning but ended up recovering as the New York Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox 2-1 in front of 54,990 fans at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The win was just the first for the Yanks in this 4-game series with one game left to play. [link]
