The Blue Jays put Dustin McGowan on the DL today with a shoulder issue. Their starter for Sunday is now the ever-popular TBA. The Yankees also will miss A.J. Burnett and Roy Halladay. Contract Talks with Second Rounder Hit a Wall

... that the contract talks between the Yanks and their second round pick in the MLB Draft, Scott Bittle, have stalled thanks to concerns over his right shoulder. Peter Abraham checked into it and says that the Yankees want to pay Bittle a reduced bonus at the start, but make it up to him if he proves to be healthy and is able to pitch.
