It's open to interpretation whether the Yankees' home run outburst yesterday was a sign of good things or not. For one thing, relying on the home run for your offense is a dangerous proposition, especially when your team doesn't get a whole lot of baserunners to begin with. That's why the Record 's description of the offensive "outburst" yesterday is a little misleading. Don't get us wrong here; any power the Yanks get without A-Rod in the lineup is a huge bonus.
