ESPN.com has released the ‘07 payroll numbers which show the Mets were a distant fourth at $120.9 million. They trailed only the Dodgers ($125.6 million), Red Sox ($155.4 million), and of course the Yankees, who led the way with a record payroll of $218.3 million.
