Bronx Banter: Dogged
Published 5/26/2008 at Baseball Toaster
... And speaking of dogs... Darrell Rasner pitched well once again allowing just one run in six innings, but the bullpen (Hawkins, Veras) gave up five in the seventh as the Orioles cruised to a 6-1 win. The victory ended a five-game losing streak for Baltimore and a five-game winning streak for New York.

Greetings from Camden Yards … and thanks

It’s a beautiful sunny Memorial Day at Camden Yards. Arrived here early today after an easy drive from New York. It’ll be Darrell Rasner against Garrett Olson at 1:35 p.m. Check back later for the lineups. Memorial Day seems like an appropriate time to thank all the military people who read this blog and my stories in the newspaper. Based on your e-mails, I know we have readers ...
