According to 1050 ESPN Radio the Yankees have traded Ross Ohlendoft + prospects for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte. I'm not sure what other prospects are involved, Phil Coke is probably involved, he was pulled after striking out the side in the first tonight in Trenton. This seems like a great move for the Yanks. I will let you know more as soon I as I do. Baseball Prospectus is also reporting .. [link]

Rumors out Pittsburgh are that the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates have struck a deal. The rumors began before tonight’s Pirates game but picked up steam when Xavier Nady was pulled after the first inning. The deal calls for Nady and Damaso Marte to join the Yankees.
