Ah man... it's been a while since we've had a dirty Wang headline. Like many other players this week, Chien-Ming Wang lost his salary arbitration case against the New York Yankees, resulting in a $4 million check, rather than the $4.6 he requested. [link]

From Peter Abraham : The Yankees beat Chien-Ming Wang in the arbitration case. Wang will be paid $4 million this year, not $4.6 million. Wang had wanted a long-term deal, but the Yankees didn't feel too comfortable with that idea. Considering that Wang has had health issues in the past, I understand where the Yankees are coming from.
