MLB.com is reporting that the Yankees and Brian Bruney avoided arbitration, and have agreed on a 0ne-year $725,000 deal. Bruney had asked for $845,000, while the Yankees offered $640,000. He made $395,545 last season, when he went 3-2 with a 4.68 ERA in 58 appearances.
