... According to Anthony Reiber of New York Newsday (click here for the post) the Yankees will bring Melky Cabrera back tomorrow. This comes due to the injury to Bobby Abreu. Cabrera was struggling enough to get sent down to Triple A and just doesn’t seem to be a huge bat to begin with. I’d pass on him in all formats at this point, as it is unknown if he will even get many AB’s. ...

According to Kat O'Brien the Yankees have called up Melky Cabrera, and he will join the team today in Seattle. With Bobby Abreu's jammed wrist bothering him the Yankees feel they need another outfielder. Melky hit .333/.409/.368 with 5 RBI in 15 games for AAA Scranton-Wilkes Barre. ...
