... Mark Feinsand of the Daily News reports that the ax has fallen on Bobby Meacham. The inept Meacham, one of the worst 3rd base coaches in recent baseball history, was rumored to be on his way out. He is one of “Girardi’s guys” so it will be interesting to see how the canning plays out. (According to Feinsand, Pitching Instructor Rich Monteleone was also sent packing.) ...
