... As per ESPN.com, the New York Yankees sent their struggling right-hander, Ian Kennedy, down to the minor leagues. In 6 appearances (5 starts) this 2008 season, Kennedy posted a 0-2 record, with an atrocious 8.37 ERA. He also walked 20 batters, while only striking out 16. Kennedy had this reaction to the move: “I was kind of surprised. But it’s bound to happen if you don’t win, especially here.” ...
