How much of an embarrassment was last year’s season-opening loss by Michigan to Appalachian State? Well, no knock on the Mountaineers but LSU pummeled them on Saturday, 41-13 . That is no disgrace. What is the ever-growing disgrace is what Lloyd Carr & Co. did last season, losing to Appalachian State at home. The game could go down as the greatest upset. Ever.
