The November 1 kickoff times for the New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers games have been flipped due to logistical issues in Philadelphia should the Philadelphia Phillies be in the World Series, the NFL announced today. Giants-Eagles will now be played at 1:00 PM ET and Vikings-Packers will begin at 4:15 PM ET, both on FOX.
To accommodate fans and city and stadium personnel in Philadelphia, the November 1 Giants-Eagles kickoff has been moved up three hours. Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards has been fined $25,000 for failing to make himself available to the media for interviews, the NBA announced today.
In addition, the Wizards organization has been fined $25,000 for failing to ensure that its players comply with NBA media interview rules.
The last two seasons, Arenas has been plagued with knee injuries. After returning this year, he said he would not speak to the media during the preseason.
