In a must-hear interview with Chris Clark of Raleigh sports radio station 850 the Buzz , Joe DeLamielleure, the Hall-of-fame offensive linemen whose damn neck Gene Upshaw threatened to break, has said that not only does he take Upshaw's threat very seriously, but he has decided that he will step up his efforts to get former NFL players better pensions. He went so far as to say that he wants to get this story off the sports page and onto the front page, and he even plans to take his story to 60 Minutes and Oprah Winfrey. Folks, if Oprah gets involved in this, Gene Upshaw can kiss his ass goodbye. Seriously, you do not want to get on Oprah's bad side. This woman gets things done . She wields more power than Upshaw could ever dream of having, and she's not afraid to use it. There's a good chance she could get involved, too. After all, she's a Chicago native who
