Take The NCAA Official Exam, Prepare to Fail
Published 7/8/2008 by Adam Jacobi at FanHouse
... and watch the crowd for proof. So CBS's Dennis Dodd, on a whim, got a hold of the NCAA's official, um, Official Exam. It's 100 questions, none of them obvious, and most of them downright ruthless. Dodd scored a 46. But Dodd's just a journalist, which is somewhere lower than "blogger" and higher than "poodle" in terms of intellect. Certainly Blogfrica's preeminent authority on all things pigskin, Sunday Morning Quarterback, would do far better, yes? No, not really. 55. Naturally, I couldn't resist the temptation. How hard ...

Yeah. Seriously, though, as footballdorkery ...
THE ROUNDABOUT: Summer Doledrums Edition
Published 7/14/2008 by Truzenzuzex at A Sea Of Blue
... I saw this last week and couldn't find a place to link it except in the newsfeed (which, apparently, few people seem to know about -- it is on the right sidebar below the fanshots). Sunday Morning Quarterback comments on the rules test college football officials have to pass every year. Virtually every college football pundit I have seen talk about this scored poorly, and even the ever-knowledgeable SMQ managed only a 55. I myself have deigned not to assail my self-esteem by attempting it. ...
