Dallas linebacker DeMarcus Ware was fined $12,500 by the NFL for unnecessary roughness on a hit on Lions quarterback Jon Kitna in Sunday's Cowboys victory. Ware lifted Kitna in the air and slammed him to the turf after Kitna had released a pass, which was complete. Ware got a 15-yard penalty on the play.
