In the long run, games like last night's might be good for the Red Sox. That's what I'm trying to tell myself while simultaneously rubbing the part of my forehead that I already banged against the table while watching the Red Sox junior varsity lose to the Angels 6-4 last night . Seriously, think about it. The team played without Jason Varitek ( sick with the flu ), Daisuke Matsuzaka ( flu ), Mike Lowell ( injured hand ), and Kevin Youkilis ( sore lower back ), and that's not even counting Coco Crisp ( strained hamstring ) and Josh Beckett, ...
