RHP Tyler Clippard allowed seven runs in just four innings of work as the Clippers dropped a 10-7 decision to the Rochester Red Wings ( box ). Clippard allowed seven hits and a pair of walks. Early Game - More Booboos Date May 15, 2008 Nick Johnson Well, dang. Nick Johnson, finally back from his broken leg injury, is out again with an ailing wrist. Hopefully it’s nothing big and he’ll be back in no time [update below]. He’s in DC getting an MRI today. I know his injury history doesn’t bode well, but I try to look at each injury like an individual case. Just cuz someone broke his cheekbone once ( among other things ), doesn’t mean he’s going to be repeatedly on the DL. Right?
