... Last night's 7-5 loss at the hands of the Seattle Mariners should make Rangers fans sick. Twenty-two guys left on base. Seven left in scoring position. Seventeen base runners and only five runs. Six runners left by Chris Davis and another five by Josh Hamilton, who recently has looked absolutely lost at the plate as of late. Most maddening is that they were getting to Felix Hernandez, who is a really great pitcher. They were really fortunate to catch him on a really bad day when they hit the ball hard and worked a lot of walks. But they couldn't ...

... it isn't now. Thompson knows Favre is going to continue to push to play. And even though I think Thompson would like to have Favre in reserve in case Aaron Rodgers gets hurt -- imagine what Monday-morning-quarterbacking (hey, King, stop stealing your own line!) would ensue if Thompson traded Favre and Rodgers went down for the year the next day with a torn hammy -- I think he believes it'd be better to just let him go somewhere else now. Meanwhile, to baseball… Rangers lose to Seattle … The Texas Rangers tried to make a comeback ...
