Your Blog Didn’t Get Buzzed by ESPN? Don’t Sweat It
I've been reading some posts around the blogosphere regarding ESPN's new morning Sports Center feature Blog Buzz, and from what I've gleaned it would seem the sports blogosphere isn't too impressed.

I agree. While the effort is appreciated, they obviously need to fine tune it. I'm hopeful everyone eventually gets a mention.

They are extending the olive branch which is better than disregarding us as media pirates.  I hope it works out.

I agree. It appears more and more MSM are starting to understand what a good working relationship with bloggers can do for their business.

You don't sound too enthusiastic. What? You don't have confidence in the Leader?

The real subject here is: is this an attempt to show that blogging is for real, or is it a tactic to get the bloggers off their back? If it's the first then good, good luck to those bloggers who get a chance, if it's the second, then good luck to us all!

I'd be pretty sure that it's a lame attempt to placate bloggers and "bring them into the fold"... nice work MoonDog.

My pessimistic nature tends to agree. I really want to see this succeed though. And I'm glad the gesture is being made. I'm hearing quite a few peeps are getting some love and that's great news.

Agreed. I've been of the opinion that the pros would get less static from us if they tried accepting us instead of attacking us.
