Also, a great run for Kige Ramsey, who finished as the runner-up. ... [link]

Filed under: Knicks, Eastern, NBA Gossip, New York, The Word The Knicks lost for the ninth time in 10 games on Friday's, but that's the least of Isiah Thomas' problems right now. To call him "embattled" is an understatement -- the guy is fighting wars on all fronts, with the media, the owner, and apparently even his players. (Lately, it seems the only people that love him are the bloggers.) When Zach Randolph was pulled in the second quarter after committing an offensive foul, he voiced his ...

... I must admit, this didn’t surprise me. Mostly because the commercials are poorly done–poorly acted, poorly conceived. That said, this says a lot about the state of true Knick fandom by contrast, and the Dolans’ absurd level of PR control. Also, the fact that this is funny makes me sad: Relatedly: Congratulations, Isiah. ...

"They had security people standing close to me in press conferences, and spies throughout the arena."If Brown -- an insider, one of the most powerful men in the organization -- can feel heat like that, no wonder the beat writers are tearing their hair out. And when you consider Brown's prime enemy within MSG -- Isiah Thomas -- it makes the environment seem even more dire. I mean, even Deadspin is ready to see Isiah's end... and Zeke was Sportshuman of the Year over there! (Disclosure: I voted Isiah for SHOTY, of course.) ...

An elaboration on why exactly Zach Randolph needs to receive his ticket out of New York as soon as possible. If the Knicks know what's good for them, that is. Which, as has been the case throughout the Zeke Era, is highly doubtful. The point about Z-Bo remains. He is far more of a detriment than anything else. In every way possible.

Isiah Not Suspended, Not Trading Z-Bo

As you may have heard about, Isiah Thomas got the boot on Wednesday after making contact with a referee as he was being T'd up. The league reviewed the tape, though, and determined the since the contact was incidental (and actually initiated by ref Joey Crawford, no less), Zeke would not be suspended, which, as the New York Times says, is actually punishment in itself:
