Coldplay on XM 51 Date July 15, 2008 Woo! That’s my most exciting news for today - 30 days of nonstop ColdPlay on XM 51. (Is that groaning I hear?) I’ve been listening to the promos for today’s big event for a month and just remembered to switch the channel from Ethel. Anyone catch their concert at the Verizon Center last month? I totally wanted to go. However, the more I listen to them, the more they seem a little mellower than my liking. I need a good pick-me-up!! Too much cruddy stuff going on these days. In the good news arena, Ryan Zimmerman began his rehab assignment yesterday and hit two doubles in five at-bats as designated hitter for Potomac at Salem. I watched the Home Run Derby ...

Rafael Furcal, SS. Furcal feels great after back surgery. He could be back in late August, giving you a full month of production at a scarce position.
Frank Thomas, DH. He is expected to take batting practice this week and could return from his quad injury in early August.
