If you ignore all the Spring Training stats (as you almost certainly should) I can find only two things to talk about from over the weekend. Ryan Zimmerman’s contract is signed! Oh, it was signed when he was drafted. That explains it. Unable to reach a deal the Nats simpy did what they could do and re-upped Zimmerman at 465K for 2008.
