During the segment of Larry Sweeney's talk show, "The Larry Sweeney Show", there was an incident where Sweeney hit a female wrestler, Allison Danger, with a mic and "knocked her out" and told his lackey, Bobby Dempsey, to become a man and get on top of her. Sweeney, then hit Dempsey with the ...

yanksup posted 3/1/2008 from joeytalkswrestling.blogspot.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: Other

Some say it started at the Royal Rumble with the return of the most popular man on the wrestler, of one John Cena. While many reading this may not be fond of Mr. Cena but he is a very charismatic character that sparks interest in almost every fan. Coward? Disloyal? Liar? Fake? Bitch? Pussy?
I'll call him a no good, fraudulent, egotistical money grubbing publicity whore.

Let me say this first. I have NO problem with Alice opting out of his contract. And I know he is one of the greatest baseball players to ever live. So no idiotic comments like that.

Yes, this pic is meant to hurt to Mets fan.
So you know the deal. Same thing as yesterday. Now for the National League.

NL East
Mets 71-53
Phillies 66-58
Braves 66-60

The Mets have the division locked. The Phillies and Braves have nice little teams but they don't have the firepower to catch the Mets in the division race. The Braves can beat the Mets. But that's the only team they ...

yanksup posted 8/22/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, New York Mets, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals

The road to October baseball is in the works, as we speak.
I'll take a look at the current standings in the division and wild card race in the American League. And make my predictions which will either be great or horrible.

AL East
Red Sox 75-50
Yankees 70-55

The Yankees were out of first place by 14.5 games at the end of May. 3 months later the lead is at 5 and many members of Red ...

yanksup posted 8/21/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees

According to a very, very, very prominent sportswriter that I conversed with yesterday, the NBA (yes, the NBA) has a big problem with performance enhancing drugs. It was implied, but not directly stated, that of the three "big sports", baseball is the one that has the least problem with steroids.

Yep, so if you can get off your Barry Bonds-hating high horse for a second, process that for ...

yanksup posted 8/21/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Shawne Williams, NBA

Brandon Webb looks like he is on his way to his 2nd straight Cy Young award with his current streak of 42 straight scoreless innings. A complete game shutout vs. a very good Atlanta Braves lineup showcased what he has been doing for the past month or so. Complete dominance. Think about that. 42 IP, 0ER. Those stats can't be duplicated via a video game. These are my thoughts on the life and career of Yankee great and MLB Hall of Famer, Phil Ruzzuto. As everyone knows, Scooter passed away yesterday at the age of 89 in his sleep. One of the greatest shortstops in Yankees history and a former Yankees announcer. It was a sad day for the Yankees and baseball, in general.

Even though the Yankees are the most hated team in professional, ...

yanksup posted 8/16/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, New York Yankees, Phil Rizzuto

Buddy Bell is one of the biggest losers in sports history. It has been accurately proven. - BallHype

Shane Battier + karaoke = country music. I could have guessed that Battier was a country music guy. I'm sure his Ipod is full of Carrie Underwood and other various country music artists, who I cannot name. - FanHouse

Nerds all over the country are on line as we speak. Madden 2008 will be released at midnight on Tuesday morning or Monday night. Whichever you want to call it.

Some features that may indulge some of the great Nyjer readers are....

- Marshall Faulk will "break down" the game before you play. And he will predict a score. I actually like this addition and find it to be pretty cool.

yes.. Oprah.

In the first year of Monday Night Football, many sports fans had numerous problems with the weekly telecast. But, there was one major gripe. Celebrities in the booth! Jay-Z, Tom Cruise, and Christian Slater were a few. For some outlandish reason, Christian Slater was in the booth.

We had enough to stomach with Tony Kornheiser and his mediocre comedy routine.
Do you trust your team?

It's crunch time. Whether it's bottom of the 9th, 4th down, or you're on your last possession how do you feel about your team winning the game? For some, they feel confident, that when the game is over, they'll be celebrating a victory. Others are scared that when the day comes to a close, they'll be lamenting over the loss that they endure. All this has to do with what team, or what player ...

yanksup posted 8/13/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NFL

Okay, so everyone is assuming that Jose Canseco is going to reveal that Alex Rodriguez has used steroids or some form of performance enhancing drugs. I am here to tell you that you are drawing the wrong conclusion.

Jose Canseco never said it was about steroids, he just said he had the goods on Rodriguez. When asked if he meant steroids, he just said we'll have to read the book, that's due ...

yanksup posted 8/9/2007 from nyjerplease.blogharbor.com

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, Jose Canseco, Alex Rodriguez

Cherry says, "David and Robbie are perfect to star as the new neighbors' best friends; the gorgeous, eccentric couple flown over from Blighty (Britain).

So yeah, it seems like Beckham is going to focus on being a gay dude on a chick show.
