It was quite chilly as practice began this morning, marking the return of gloves and hats which we saw a few of the guys sporting toward the end of last week. This made a warm cup of coffee that much more enjoyable while watching the team go through training. While we're not playing for a playoff spot on Sunday at LA, there are a couple positives to look for: Kenny Cooper will be in direct competition for the MLS Golden Boot award, as he currently has 18 goals, one behind LA's Landon Donovan. A goal for Cooper would also give him the team record for goals in a season (Jason Kreis scored 18 in 1999). If Kenny and Landon finish with the same ...
