Sure, it’s a couple days old, but so what? It’s worth another look to see Sidney Crosby sliding over to fill in for out of position goalie Marc-Andre Fleury and make a big play to save a goal in what would be a Penguins 4-3 win in Anaheim on Tuesday night. It’s a ridiculously heads up play, exactly the kind of thing that won’t show up on a stats sheet (well, technically it will show up as a blocked shot, but I think you know damn well what I mean), and considering I haven’t been to quick to praise Crosby very often in this corner, something I figured I’d better acknowledge. ...
