Lynch’s style was one of unabashed love of Big Blue and it came through joyously game after game. He lost a son Richard, 31, in the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Richard Lynch worked on the 84th floor of Two World Trade Center. Lynch scored one of the most storied touchdowns in Notre Dame history.
