Your "One Shining Moment" From The 2008 Tournament

There is no better production and recap better than the OSM. I want to give it the respect it deserves so there will be no comments from me and/or you. No comparing it to years past. Just enjoy.... ...
Well That Was Fun, One Shining Moment
The700Level.com - Philly Sports & Minutiae —
Last night's game was the kind of game that you're glad you spent the time to watch. How bout the absolute legend that Mario Chalmers just became. Pretty amazing shot.
And with Kansas walking on water last night, Memphis pulled one of the worst choke jobs we've seen in quite a while. No way should they lose that game with that kind of lead and a minute left. The shot:
And a CBS tradition:

"One Shining Moment" Video for 2008
Eye On Sports Media —
Athens, GA (Apr 8, 2008) - For those who are looking for it, here is the 2008 "One Shining Moment" video as posted on Google Video (thanks AA). It is absolutely absurd that CBS Sports does not make their version available as embedded video, which would give them increased ad revenue.
'ONE SHINING MOMENT' STILL NOT COMPELLING
With Leather - Sports news and gossip, panda sex, and the occasional Toonces the driving cat Photoshop —
I'm not quite sure why "One Shining Moment" is such a big fucking deal every year. There are certainly worse songs on the planet, but that's only because those songs are memorably shitty. This one's just blandly saccharine, like a half-assed animated Disney musical. I guess a song and a highlight reel is a nice way to cap off the tournament, but to have some kind of emotional connection to it is just kind of sad. It's the sports equivalent of jerking off to "A Whole New World" in Aladdin. [Awful Announcing]

Lakers March Madness, Elite Eight!
Lakers Blog —
Round one is in the books in both the Cedric Ceballos and JR Reid Brackets, and I think it's fair to say the level of competition was nothing short of stunning. We had upsets, we had buzzer beaters, we had dominant performances by elite... um... arbitrarily created competitors. We had all that, and coin flips (to break the tie between Adam Morrison's facial hair and Trevor Ariza's tattoos). The highlights, of course, will be captured in the Official Lakers March Madness One Shining Moment montage . But we can't live in the past. It's time for the Round of 16! Cedric Ceballos Bracket: #1 Adam ...
