I took full fan responsibility for UGA’s let down of all of college football for losing to the minor league ‘Eers in the Sugar Bowl a couple of years ago, I still apologize for allowing that falsehood to perpetuate. Oklahoma hasn’t been quite as damning as they come from a conference nearly as impotent as the Big East, so the ‘Eers victory over the Sooners is a fart in the wind. Oklahoma loses to everybody. How much pressure will Georgia get on Colt Brennan in the Sugar Bowl? Desmond Howard had the answer. Mark May and Lou Holtz had the Sugar Bowl all figured out. Yes, Hawaii can beat Georgia. The Debriefing: Did Hawaii Belong in the BCS? Not Really, But Sure, Why Not?

Hawaii spent a season putting up unfathomable numbers against incapable opponents, and when suddenly facing with a team that's actually ranked among the top 50 (or, in this case, top 5), Georgia stuck an apple in their mouth, then glazed and roasted them while tourists danced about in grass skirts. And now, in light of the pounding that Hawaii took in the Sugar Bowl...

MVN's Football University: Sugar Bowl recap

If you hear the joke, “when was the Sugar Bowl over? Before it started!”, trust me, it’s not a joke. Just ask Colt Brennan. Georgia steamrolled Hawaii 41 to 10 and the score doesn’t even come close to making anyone realize just how bad this game was.
