Washington Wizards Get Awkward in the Club
Published 5/10/2008 by JC at Stet Sports Blog
In the first minute of this video of Caron Butler and DeShawn Stevenson at Ibiza nightclub in Northeast DC, behold a DJ that doesn't know DeShawn's last name, Caron taking the lead on the "I Can't Feel My Face" movement, and plenty of big bottles. Wizards Players Following Through On Their Boycott Of Love [DeShawn Stephens]
Published 5/11/2008 by Christmas Ape at Deadspin
That may not actually be true, but the Wizards players swore they'd never go to Love, the club that played Jay-Z's diss track against DeShawn Stevenson, ever again. Caron is an underrated fashion icon.
At what point does DeShawn drop the “I Can’t Feel My Face” move? I think it’s when a DJ implores him to do his “dance.”
Let’s hope that the fellows didn’t have the ...
Cleveland Still Loves DeShawn
Published 5/12/2008 by Dan Steinberg at D.C. Sports Bog
Cleveland Still Loves DeShawn You know how the home crowd in the Verizon Center is often too quiet? And how the desperate scoreboard operators thus fill their screen with images sure to provoke hate, such as the Cowboys logo or pictures of Duke players? Especially when the visiting team is on the free-throw line? Well, they do the same thing in Cleveland. During Game 5 of this year's playoff series, for example, The Q game ops people put up the Yankees logo, causing involuntary booing noises to pour out of the mouths of Clevelanders. So now it's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semis, and the Celtics are on the line, and whose face shows up on the big ...
