There are many occurances for a NBA delay from issue with the clock to lighting problems and even the occassional hawk attack. However, this is a first for the NBA, "a bat delay" and on cue during Halloween. Nearing the end of the first quarter between the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings, a actual bat flew onto the court and caused a "bat delay."
