The Lakers have won 18 of their last 22 games. The Raptors don’t have Chris Bosh. It’s not hard to guess who would come away with this win.
Kobe Bryant played his normal role of fourth quarter assassin by scoring 10 points in the last 8 1/2 minutes to lead the Lakers to a 117-108 win at home against the Raptors.
With this win the Lakers have scratched their way back to the top of the Western conference. Just like every week in the Western conference though they probably won’t be in the lead in a few days. They have a very tough four game road trip ...

The Blazers are now 3-0 against Minnesota so far this year (chance to make it 4-0 Saturday) and 3-4 3-1 on this current road trip. You hate to say it was a 'big' win last night against the second worst team in the league, but it was a big win. Big in the sense that the Blazers had to battle from behind and refused to play dead when the Timberwolves were attacking and, for a time, outhustling the Blazers. And big in the sense that it gives the Blazers a winning road trip. They lose this game last night, they most likely go on and lose tomorrow night in Channing Frye's favorite city, Sacramento, and return home 2-3. Here's how they saw it ... Joe ...
