Bogut's going it alone for now. Yep, it's been that kind of season: Andrew Bogut makes a free throw, and when no one seems to notice, he dreams up some better teammates for imaginary high-fives. Good times. Bogut was the lone bright spot last night, scoring 27 points, grabbing nine boards and blocking three shots before Marvin Williams' inadvertent rake across the face (no foul called) sent him to the locker room with a bloodied grill. Thanks to Paul and Citizen at RealGM for uploading this; send us an email if you have a better version of it.

Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut led his team with 27 points in just 31 minutes last night, but the woeful Bucks still lost 115-96 in Atlanta, falling to 24-46 and maintaining their stranglehold on last place in the Central Division. They say the NBA is a team sport but apparently, that doesn’t apply to the Milwaukee Bucks. Take, for instance, this following clip. What we have is Bucks center Andrew Bogut shooting some free throws and after he makes the first one, he does what most free throw shooters do and looks for somebody to slap five with. It's not a good sign when you're the No. 1 overall draft pick and people like me occasionally forget you still play basketball.
It appears, his Milwaukee Bucks "teammates" did the same.
Bogut resorted to high-fiving himself at the free throw line last night. That's unfortunate, considering he actually had a very good game (27 points).
If Andrew is looking for a few friends, I think he'd have a willing partner in Pete Gillen. That is, if he's willing to share some of his clothes. ...

It could be worse, Bulls fans. Via Brew Hoop: I originally thought this was pretty funny, but then I remembered Big Sweet (I think) telling me about a friend of his who lives in Milwaukee who almost skipped a semester in college so that the Bucks could pay him to hang out with and just generally be Andrew Bogut's friend. When considered in tandem with this clip, I find Bogut's loneliness and alienation from his teammates almost heart-rending.

Based on this clip, it’s safe to assume that his teammates have abandoned him — indeed, after nailing a free throw, Bogut stuck out his hands to receive high fives from his fellow Bucks, but his teammates were nowhere to be found. Ultimately, the big man resorted to high-fiving several imaginary friends:
