Andrew Bynum Was Not Made for Live TV
FanHouse —
Filed under: Lakers, Western, NBA Videos, Los Angeles, The WordI feel silly putting in a disclaimer on an effin' weekend, but be warned: Andrew Bynum says a NSFW* word: Unlike when Shaq channeled his inner George Carlin back in the day, this one looked to be purely unintentional. But hey, I'd be swearing, too, if I went 25 and 17! Way to get those effin' rebounds, Andrew! * Is the f-bomb really Not Safe For Work? I've yet to work in an office where it wasn't accepted ...
Andrew Bynum Curses On Live Television
The Association —
by Brett Edwards
Andrew Bynum is quickly developing into a legitimate NBA big man, and that will mean more live post-game interviews after his strong performances. Hopefully the 20-year-old will become more comfortable with the process, but as for now, he couldn't stop himself from letting loose this F-bomb on live TV. ...
LAMAR ODOM IS GETTING THE F'ING REBOUNDS
With Leather —
Los Angeles Lakers' center Andrew Bynum enjoys complimenting his teammates and swearing: The "oops" killed him. When I fuck-up make a mistake like that, I try to play it off as Turrets Syndrome. Although I wouldn't try that in a confessional, because then the priest blames his loss of muscular control on MS. -KD {MixMakers}

Bynum Torches Bucks, Says “Fuck”
Can't Stop The Bleeding —
Well, sort of (video link swiped from the Fanhouse)
Incredibly, that wasn’t even close to the most fantastic commentary surrounding last night’s Laker win over Milwaukee. You Been Blinded transcribes yet-another fantastic Jeff Van Gundy tangent, one that ESPN colleague Mike Breen failed to quash.
JVG: If I was Phil Jackson I would inject a dose of upper respiratory viral infection into my whole team tomorrow at practice. That would be practice.
MB: In case you’re just tuning in and you don’t know ...

Hail Mary Jane —
Ok so Andrew Bynum is quickly becoming one of the best young players in the league. They had a thoroughly convincing victory last night at the Staples Center with Bynum coming up big. He had 25 points and 17 boards which is a career high. I guess Andrew must have been really excited about it because after the game he dropped the F-bomb in an interview. Check it out:

We Were All Wrong About This Guy (Sorry Mitch)
SPORTSbyBROOKS —
Thanks in part to Kobe Bryant, Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak has been the most maligned man in the 213 for some time now. Most of the criticism has been deserved. The drafts, trades and acquisitons by Kupchak since taking over for Jerry West have been largely dreadful, and have set the Lakers into steady decline.
But Kupchak (and Jim Buss, to be fair) has stuck to his guns on Andrew Bynum. Considering the way Kobe called the kid out over the summer, Kupchak’s intractable stance on the former first rounder is astonishing. And as it turns out, correct. ...
Lakers’ Bynum Sidelined 8 Weeks With Knee Injury
SPORTSbyBROOKS —
The Lakers’ offense took a hit Monday, as Andrew Bynum is expected to miss at least 8 weeks due to an injured knee.
The ASSOCIATED PRESS diagnoses that Bynum got hurt during the 3rd quarter of LA’s Sunday night win over Memphis. He fell on Lamar Odom’s left foot while going for a rebound, and had to be carried off the court by Kwame Brown & Ronny Turiaf.
MRI tests on Monday revealed that Andrew had temporarily dislocated his kneecap (ouch!) and suffered a bone bruise. ...

Does ANYONE Care About This "Greatest Highlight" Crap on ESPN?
Boiled Sports —
I have to ask... and I know it's February and it's considered a slow sports month, BUT.... When I turn on the 11 PM Eastern Sportscenter expecting to see highlights of my beloved Purdue's victory over MSU as well as other college basketball highlights and maybe a feature about pitchers and catchers reporting for Spring Training, WHY must I be subjected to: ...and ALSO, coming up, Chris Berman will talk about a stupid play from 1982 between two meaningless, insignificant college football programs (Cal and Stanford) and this wild and wacky play that, really, kind of sucked and the officials totally effed up since there ...
Are the Lakers Really the Team to Beat?
The Big Lead —
Best bench in the league, and it’s not even close. Back-to-back wins over the Hornets and Spurs (though San Antonio was missing Manu). They’ll soon get energetic pogo stick, Andrew “Oops” Bynum, returning to the lineup, which may fortify the occasionally iffy defense. Are the Lakers the team to beat? After the jump, we offer a pithy critique on each playoff-bound team in both leagues.
Detroit4lyfe....4lyfe
DETROIT4LYFE —
Detroit4lyfe is making great strides! For the first time in our blog's life, we have received over 100 hits a day, for three straight days. I'm pretty sure we are going to start getting numerous interview requests. I just hope we don't slip up like Andrew Bynum does here. I guess we'll have to take a few lessons on how to deal with the endless media attention we're going to start receiving, so that we don't f... I mean, so we don't sound unprofessional. Actually, we should probably stay away from the Lakers 'How to do an Interview' trainers in ...
Andrew Bynum can score ... but not as much as Wilt
Ball Don't Lie —
Andrew Bynum scored a season-high 24 points last night, including a key put-back bucket late in the fourth, and it looks like he could be on the way to a big second-half. A few weeks ago, I caught up with the 21-year-old and was able to ask him a few quick questions. What I found out is that the Lakers' center spends his time like most other 21-year-olds. Bynum seems to have a good head on his shoulders and the seven-footer is pretty funny too ... Ball Don't Lie: You're a big fan of "The Matrix" trilogy, which one of
