Angels Throw No Hitter That Isn't Really A No Hitter, Lose To Dodgers 1-0

The Angels managed to do something last night that's only happened 5 times since 1900. They lost a game in which they didn't give up a hit. They fell to the Dodgers 1-0.
But here's the even weirder thing, they didn't throw a no hitter either. Say what?
Yep, because the game took place at Chavez Latrine Ravine in LA, the Angels didn't pitch to the Dodgers in the bottom of the ninth, thus having only thrown 8 innings of no-hit ball, which is not deemed to be a no-hitter.
This is the third time in the expansion era (1961-on) ...
Dont you dare call it a no-hitter.
