Avis Tries Harder and has a funny Sox/Yankees Commercial. This video brought to us by Red Sox Monster. For the record this is my second funny baseball commercial where a Bostonian says “Caw” instaed of Car. Enjoy this, Avis Tries Harder and has a funny Sox/Yankees Commercial.

AVIS has a sense of humor about this Red Sox-Yankees thing

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if the following commercial is new to me, it's probably new to some of you, too. And hey, I'm "wicked psyched" about it: So little time, so many stereotypes to mess with. Fuggetaboutit!

Avis: We Make It Harder To Like Yanks-Sox Rivalry
Published 4/10/2008 by Matt Sussman at SPORTSbyBROOKS
From the RED SOX MONSTER emerges an Avis car commercial rife with stereotypes about people from N’Yawk and Bahst’n. That’s actually how the cities are spelled, by the way. The HR representative introducing the new guy, I read in the commercial’s director notes , is actually a Blue Jays fan. You can tell by the lack of accent, character, and John McDonald -like gritty v-neck sweater. Oh, the Red Sox and Yankees begin a series starting tomorrow. (But you already knew that. Afternoon Red Sox Delight - 4/11

It’s the Red Sox and the Yankees, what more can you say. It’s the greatest rivalry in sports although some will disagree with that. It’s one of the series that gets so much media attention that it can actually be sickening. For the new players who haven’t experienced it yet, welcome to the circus. You can expect a marathon of a game tonight as the Red Sox and Yankees are notoriously known to play 4 hour games. In fact, since 2006, the average game has totaled 3 hours and 30 minutes. Supposedly a Red Sox fan who is working on the construction of the New Yankee Stadium has buried a Red Sox ...

I Love This Commercial!
Published 14 days ago by Lou Score (noreply@blogger.com) at Sport Hump...dry and harmless
Whether you're a Yankee fan or Red Sux fan, this commercial is pretty funny. Although, the Red Sux fan in the commercial does look like a doofis (I have no idea how to spell that word), which is simply accuracy in television. ...
