Dante Love Injury Update
Published 9/23/2008 by The GM at Arin It Out
The video below tells the tale of this past Saturday night at the game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Ball State Cardinals.  On the play, WR Dante Love injured his spine and was carted off the field.  At first glance, it looked like he might have just been knocked unconscious, but in the end, Love ended up with a much more serious injury.  He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for surgery to his spine. Yahoo! had an article up this morning about his condition and it looks like Love will be able to carry on with his life, but without football.  It is unfortunate when a player sustains an ...

A Melancholy Tribute to Dante Love
Published 9/23/2008 by TheRiot at Rumors and Rants
Late last week we went out on a limb and urged you to watch the Ball State-Indiana football game Saturday night. It didn’t turn out to be as entertaining as we thought it’d be. Love broke his spine and suffered a spinal cord injury in a game Saturday night against Indiana. It will probably be the last football play of his entire life. To let you know how severe things got the first sentence of the ...
