B-Diddy Is Leaving The Warriors (For NY?)
Published 7/1/2008 by noreply@blogger.com (KC Cal) at The Play in California
As many of you know by now, Baron Davis may no longer be a Golden State Warrior, or for the purpose of this blog, a Golden State WARRRIAHHHHHH! B-Diddy has decided to opt out of his contract and become a free agent, basically meaning he’s ready to take that long BART ride home to greener pastures away from Oakland. On the plus side, this frees up some money for the Warriors to use to keep Monte Ellis around and perhaps pick up someone else on the free agent market. This will also help the WARRIAHHHS pay for Don Nelson’s tab at McNally’s Irish Pub out in North Oakland. Sadly, this is just the beginning of the Warriors foray into ...
Baron Davis and Elton Brand opt out…. Whats next?
Published 7/1/2008 by houroc at SportFiends
Well I have to admit, I didn’t see this one coming. Two NBA stars opted out of their contracts with their current teams to test the completely broke market. Baron Davis left 17.8 million on the table to become a free agent and Elton Brand left $16 million on the table. Early Free Agent News

Jose Calderon says he's staying in Toronto. Not much of a surprise there. Gilbert Arenas got not one, but two max offers last night. One from Golden State, one from Washington. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution thinks the Sixers are going full-steam ahead after Josh Smith, and they aren't happy about it. Smith will reportedly visit the Sixers this week, possibly as early as tomorrow morning. The Knicks are interested in Chris Duhon. Stephen A. Smith thinks Baron Davis wants to go to the Knicks, which would only be possible as part of a sign and trade. Seeing as how the Warriors are already trying to ...
Free Agents! They’re Everywhere!
Published 7/1/2008 at Dropping Dimes
By now, you’ve likely heard that a few of last season’s top producers (and one that should have been pre-injury) have decided that they will test the free agency waters.
Obviously, this will have a vast impact on the upcoming fantasy season. Rumors have it that Baron Davis will look at the Clippers, with the possible addition of Gilbert Arenas in Golden State? It’s a crazy world we live in; this I know.
Stay tuned to see where these players land, as we’re seeing some ...
