The guys got their first look at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa this evening when they trained in Deportivo Saprissa's home stadium.  Rain fell steadily throughout.  And I mean, it fell steadily.  Luckily, the weather remained relatively warm, so the rain was bearable.   Saprissa's field is a pretty well-trampled hybrid of astro and field turf - i.e. the ball will move quickly tomorrow night, especially while wet.  It will likely be a fast-moving contest. It’s going to be a very difficult game tonight for DC United down in San Jose, Costa Rica against powerhouse Saprissa. If it’s raining like this at game time, expect a damn fast field when you add water to field turf.

Oh yeah, there is another game on tonight that's not RBNY at RSL. D.C. United are down in Costa Rica to play Saprissa at 10pm on FSC in the CONCACAF Champions League. Godspeed you men in black.
