You know, its a wonder why more teams don't try this. Hell, I think the NBA should allow teams like the TWolves and Thunder 7 on the court for inbounds plays just to make it interesting. God knows nobody is watching those games otherwise.

So it's New Year's Eve. I stayed up way too late last night. Told myself I was going to do a full post today. Yet now I'm feeling exceptionally tired and lazy. Blazers Score With 6 Men on the Court, Video. This is a great concept! Imagine how many teams in high school and college could beat full court presses by throwing the extra guy out there. It would be like a powerplay in hockey. Interestingly enough, the football players never get away with it because it is the responsibility of one ref in a crew to count bodies and make sure there are not too many. However, football requires six refs, basketball only uses two making this kind of cheating easier to get away with!
