I feel if the wacky and wild Web was around during Bob Knight’s heyday, he would have been fired from IU in, oh, about 1984. (Although, this theory presupposes that kids and parents of the ’80s act like those of today, which, they must certainly did not. You could be a crazy bastard and people were OK with it back then.) The above video -- which, WARNING, features typically NSFW Bob Knight language -- is Knight giving hiring advice to Florida Atlantic University athletic director Craig Angelos. Why Knight chose to answer his phone about the matter in front of about 1,900 people at a Nashville speaking engagement is beyond me ... but it's Bob Knight.
