Bobby Knight and Grandson Tell Off the Media
Published 1/6/2008 at FanIQ Blog
It's been a while since we've had a good Bobby Knight press conference clip. Fortunately, he was in rare form yesterday and brought his grandson to the table. Priceless.
Bobby Knight Needs An Intervention…Like 20 Years Ago.

By now, most have heard of Bobby Knight including his grandson in the press conference after TT’s win against UTEP. Most of it is innocent, but there is some language that inexplicably has been cut by ESPN–even with the beep.
What’s up with that?
Substitute John Chaney here and what’s the result tomorrow ...
For The Record, Bobby Knight Is A Prick...

Bobby Knight won his 899th game in Division I basketball and brings his grandson, Will, in for the occasion; however, what should be a time to reflect and perhaps take a break from the dog and pony show of his cursing & posturing --- um, he does not do that. ...
Here They Come!

Well, well, well….The Giants are coming. And so is Eli. Prepare for a long week of tense concern. This is what life in the NFL Playoffs are all about. The weaklings were sent home already, and now the 8 heavyweights can figure this thing out in the next 3 rounds… Eli Leads them to victory? …yes, he did… Sunday’s wild-card playoff victory sent the Giants (11-6) to the second round of the N.F.L. playoffs for the first time in seven years. Next Sunday, they will play the Cowboys (13-3), a team they lost to twice during the regular season. But the Giants now tote confidence and an underdog’s ease. ...
Pretty soon, he’ll start referring to Pat Knight as a bastard in a basket

So, we both ventured out of our apartments yesterday (on a Sunday!) to catch P.T. Anderson’s There Will Be Blood. Though a bit sluggish throughout the middle, it was also pretty brilliant. And crazy. Reallyfreakinginsane, actually. Its main character, Daniel Plainview, becomes more deranged with the passage of time and seems to only exist for himself as he spirals into disillusionment.
What I’m getting at here is this: I’m fairly certain that if you were to splice this clip of Bob Knight and his grandson into the movie somewhere, I wouldn’t have noticed ...
Bob Knight: He Always Keeps You Wanting More
Published 1/7/2008 by SkinDog at Friends of Crazy Joe Davola
We are all die-hard Indiana Basketball fans and it still kills us to see Bob Knight coaching another team. Besides coaching, one of the great things about Coach Knight are the classic interviews and press conferences he gives. This past Saturday, Bob decided to bring his grandson to the post game press conference. ...

Bobby Knight Resigns: Remembering His All-Time Best Clips & Soundbites

Shocking, and very sad news that Bobby Knight has abruptly resigned as head coach of Texas Tech tonight. One of my favorite coaches in any sport, all-time, and based on my personal experience with him you might not think that'd be the case.
Back in 1993, a really short, not so quick kid with huge afro that relied solely on a deadly jump shot attended Bobby Knight's basketball camp. The General didn't do a whole lot of coaching during the week, other than a daily speech that you went about how you'd imagine. Occasionally though, he'd wander around watching the scrimmages and pick his ...
Bob Knight Says He Might Return To Coaching

Great news for all of you who like college basketball coaches who choke their players and make beyond inappropriate comments comparing a blowout to rape. Bobby Knight says he's interested in returning to college basketball.
