Two goals by Pippo Inzaghi was the difference as Rodrigo Palacio and Alessandro Ambrosini (own goal) kept Boca in the hunt. Kaka and Nesta also scored. Congratulations to the Rossoneri for "officially" becoming the best club in the world.

Perhaps surprisingly, the FIFA Club World Cup left the best until last, with two magnificent matches to mark the end of the 2007 competition. In the first match, for third place, Urawa Red Diamonds came from a goal down to lead Etoile Sportive De Sahel 2-1, before a horrific goalkeeping error pegged them back to a penalty shoot-out, which the Japanese side won on penalties. It's probably fair to say that the experiment of having a side from the home nation in the tournament has been a success. Urawa, in spite of a late season collapse in the J-League, have been far from outplayed in any of their performances in this competition and thoroughly deserve ...

All hail AC Milan!! For the 4th in their club history, the Rossoneri have climbed on top of the world. And it doesn’t matter if the cup is called the Toyota Cup or the FIFA Club World Cup, this trophy is there to prove that over the year 2007, they are the strongest team around even if their Serie A record seems to disprove it. The goals of Inzaghi (double), Kaká and Nesta were too many for a Boca Juniors who fought valiantly and as equals to the Rossoneri for an entire half, and more. In the end though, the accelerations of Kaká, the ruthlessness of Inzaghi, and the added wild card value of Nesta (since when does he ever score a goal?) ...

I would have predicted that this match would end 0-0. How wrong I was. The two best club sides in the world (hmmm) scored six goals between them in a very open and entertaining game. Pippo Inzaghi, who else, scored twice for Milan in front of a crowd of 68,263 in Yokohama, Japan, while man-of-the- match Kaka, who else, and defender Alessandro Nesta got the Italian club's other goals. A quick collection of good soccer stuff. First, watch the top 10 goals from the Champions League group stage. Second, Milan beat Boca Juniors 4-2 to win the FIFA Club World Cup.
