VIDEO: Minor league manager refuses to chest bump female ump, throws baby tantrum instead
Published 6/25/2008 by Cameron Martin at Bugs & Cranks
This is Amarillo Dillas’ manager Brady Bogart doing his best Lou Piniella impersonation. First he gets into a shouting match with a female ump, i.e., an argument he was doubly fated to lose. Then he gets ejected by said umpire, plays discus with second base, and finally goes back to his own bench and dumps a bag full of balls onto the field. With any luck, the ball boy told him, “Hey, asshat, you can pick up those up yourself.” ...

She Totally Throws People Out Like a Girl
Published 6/25/2008 at JoeSportsFan.com
Brady Bogart is the manager of the Amarillo Dillas.  If you're wondering who or what the Amarillo Dillas is (are?), it's a baseball team from the United League.  Judging from their homepage, they're none too big on updating their site.  But that's not important.  What is important is Bogart's Lou Piniella-esque tantrum, and the ejection he earns from the female umpire, who from our vantage point, resembles Annika Sorenstam (good to see she found work in her retirement).  Although the ejection takes place within the first 20 seconds of the video, I promise you'll want to view the entire 99 second clip. ...

How to properly argue with umpires
Published 6/25/2008 by houroc at Hail Mary Jane » Hail Mary Jane
If you are going to argue with an umpire in baseball, you have to make sure you are going to do it right.  You have the crowd watching you, you have your team watching you, you have your pride to deal with.  You can’t go out there and look soft. Here is a video of a manager showing how to show a female umpire whos boss… The base throwing was a nice yet unnecessary thing to add. Here is video of Jerry Manuel and Carlos getting ejected, one after the ...

Minor League Manager Blows Up At Female Ump
Published 6/25/2008 by jason at SPORTSbyBROOKS
About time we saw another minor league manager lose his cool, since the rantings & ravings of Joe Mikulik and Phillip Wellman can only be enjoyed for so long. BUGS & CRANKS pitches along the latest blowup from the bush leagues, this time starring Brady Bogart of the Amarillo Dillas . Seems Bogie wasn’t to pleased with the ump’s call - and a female ump, no less! - and decided to engage in a little cantankerous chit-chat. Well, the gal in blue didn’t appreciate Brady’s bombacity, so she threw him out. Bogart responded by picking up second base and hurling it into the outfield. And he wasnt’t done ...

Female Ump Tosses Minor League Manager - Video
Published 6/26/2008 by Stephen Kersey at Knuckle Curve - Baseball News
Watch this video to see a female umpire toss a minor league manager. After a play at second base, the minor league manager apparently didn’t appreciate the judgment call. The manager, who has been identified as Amarillo Dillas manager Brady Bogart, goes on to disturb the second base bag. This video is worth watching if for no other reason than to watch the female ump give an emphatic heave ho. ...

The Tailgating Hangover

While we await the start of a three game set in Kansas City, let us pause and bow our heads in the glow that was this past week in SportsMag. Someone out there paid $100 for an Allen Watson game used glove.  We can’t make this stuff up, people.  [THURSDAY] Cards rookie Nick Stavinoah appears to be the biological son of Jeff Suppan and Aaron Miles.  Don’t ask questions.  [Wednesday] It’s Fan-A-Palooza, with odes to the really dedicated Royals fan, moronic Cubs fan and repugnant Boston fan.  [TUESDAY] Alan Thicke: master of the shootout.  [MONDAY] ...
