Boo Weekley Has a Way With Words
FanHouse —
by Ryan Wilson Filed under: Golf, PGA, Ryder Cup I like Boo Weekley. I think he's good for golf in much the same way John Daly was in the early '90s before beer-soaked Twinkies took over his life. Boo's Al Czervik to the PGA Tour's Judge Smails except he's not acting. What you see is what you get. He's Larry the Cable Guy without the shtick. Which is why this makes perfect sense. I Just Don't Get It
Dogs That Chase Cars —
That is Boo Weekley talking about stuff. I don't get the hype. I don't get it at all. The guy drives me as insane as right-to-left five footers (I'm a lefty). Explain to me the love for this guy please. I just can't get it.
Boo Weekley Thinks George W. Bush Is Dead
Brahsome - Care To Get Nice? —
Boo Weekley, as Ryan said at FanHouse, is great for golf. That doesn’t make him any less of a somehow more ridiculous, real-life Happy Gilmore. He also calls JFK “whatshisname.”
If he keeps this up, we’re adding him to our header full of totally made up people who in no way actually resemble any celebrity or fictional characters.
The Clown's Mouth: Tiger Woods stinks at Tiger Woods '09
Devil Ball Golf —
Every weekday morning, we'll serve up some of the best in the day's golf writing. Read it on your way to the first tee. • Padraig Harrington speaks heresy: it's easier to win a tournament when Tiger is involved. Well, at least it will be early on. [Local Knowledge] • At Tuesday's players' meeting, PGA golfers apparently get that they've got to do more in this economy, like it or not. [Golf Channel] • Florida has a $36 billion annual sports industry. Golf is a huge part of that. No, really. They golf in Florida. I can't believe it either, but that's what they're telling me. ...
Yeah, Boo Weekley is kind of awesome
Epic Carnival —
PGA golfer Boo Weekley is kind of like the sober version of John Daly (Wait, was there ever a sober version of John Daly? I digress...). Watch closely as Boo expounds on his vast knowledge of politics... BTW, Boo is also writing a book ...
