Tootoo Vs. Valabik
Published 10/6/2008 by JP (noreply@blogger.com) at Japers' Rink
[image] I'm not typically one to post gratuitous fight vids, but the tussle below from over the weekend between Nashville's Jordin Tootoo and Atlanta's Boris Valabik is worth your time. First, the tale of the tape: Valabik is 6'7" and got in 17 regular season fights last year , so he (ostensibly) knows how to handle himself. Tootoo is 5'9", had nine fights last season and dated Kellie Pickler . With that intro behind us, here's the scrap (warning: you may want to turn down/off your speakers for this one): H/t to EMac over at FanHouse on the link

Here's a fight from the 2008 pre-season. 5'9" Jordin Tootoo takes on 6'7" Boris Valabik. Despite being nearly a foot shorter, Tootoo gets the win, although I'm not sure he actually landed any of those bombs. Oh, and judging from the video, the fans love it. Labels: classic hockey fight ...

Mondays here at BMR mean a look back at the best plays from the last week. During the regular season and throughout the playoffs, I'll be recapping the best videos from around the NHL during the last seven days. They might be fights, goals or Vice Presidential Candidates dropping the ceremonial faceoff. Anything, really. Kind of like what ...
